# AiQL handbook

> A restricted briefing on AiQL for investors

AiQL is an enterprise reasoning system for regulated industries. It connects to the systems an organization already runs, and gives the people who know the work a way to encode what those systems never held: how terms are defined, which rules outrank which, and how the best people actually decide. Every application, agent, and automation built on AiQL inherits that reasoning.

This handbook is a restricted briefing for investors. It covers the company, the founders and experts, the market, what is deployed, what is built, and how it is offered.

## How it works

**1. Connect**

Systems of record, data platforms, document stores, and the external standards and regulator feeds the organization is obliged to watch. Sources stay where they are. Nothing gets rebuilt first, and connection is not the hard part.

**2. Encode**

The people accountable for the work author what no system holds: definitions, rules, precedence, thresholds, and the judgment an expert applies without writing it down. This is the act competitors have no surface for.

**3. Inherit**

Applications, agents, automations, and APIs all reason from the same governed knowledge. One authoring act governs every answer downstream, and each answer carries a chain back to the source and the rule it rests on.

Structured knowledge is an asset that compounds. Every correction an expert makes raises the floor under every answer that follows, so the system grows more precise as the organization grows. The economics behind that are on [About](https://handbook.aiql.io/company/about.md).
